Welcome to Dockside Entertainment Group. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services. By hiring our services or engaging with us in any way, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Services Provided
Dockside Entertainment Group offers a range of event management services, including but not limited to:
- Event planning and coordination
- Venue selection and design
- Vendor coordination
- Audio-visual and lighting coordination
- entertainment arrangements
3. Booking and Reservation
- Deposit Requirements: A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 24 days before the event date.
- Booking Confirmation: Once your deposit is received, a formal contract outlining the services, terms, and expectations will be issued.
- Cancellation Policy: If you cancel the event, you will forfeit your deposit. If canceled less than 7 days before the event, a percentage of the total cost will also be non-refundable.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Event Details: You must provide all relevant details of your event at least 3-3 weeks in advance.
- Venue & Permits: Clients are responsible for ensuring the venue is secured and all required permits (if any) are obtained.
- Client Conduct: Clients are expected to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with Dockside Entertainment Group staff and vendors.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment Schedule: Final payment is due 4 days before the event date. If payment is not received on time, Dockside Entertainment Group reserves the right to cancel or suspend services.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via Interac E-Transfer, Cheque, PayPal and more
6. Liability
- Indemnity: Dockside Entertainment Group is not liable for any damages either financial or injuries and losses that may occur before, during, or after the event unless caused directly by the negligence or willful misconduct of our staff or contractors.
- Force Majeure: We will not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, acts of God, government regulations, etc.).
7. Event Changes and Modifications
- Scope of Services: Any changes to the scope of services or additional requests must be confirmed in writing. Changes made after confirmation may result in additional fees.
- Event Rescheduling: In the event of a reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, both parties will mutually agree on a new date and terms.
8. Confidentiality
Dockside Entertainment Group agrees to keep all client information confidential and not disclose any private information related to your event without prior consent, unless required by law.
9. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: Any creative materials, designs, or concepts produced by Dockside Entertainment Group remain the property of the company unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Use of Photography and Video: We reserve the right to use photographs and video footage of the event for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nova Scotia.
11. Amendments
Dockside Entertainment Group reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

By booking or using Dockside Entertainment Group’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
